Please click below to see our ranges of above ground family pools. These pools are all 52" deep and made using a steel wall construction. They all come in kit form, and are delivered on a pallet. The Oracle and has steel uprights and verticals. Most of our kits come with all the necessary equipment including ladders / pumps / sand filters to enable you to start enjoying the pool straight away. They can normally be assembled in a few days, given the time taken to fill up with water. They all require chemical treatment - as does any pool. A chemical start-up kit is included in the price.

Please click below to see our range of above ground family pools. These are steel walled pools, usually permanent fixtures, although they can be taken down and re assembled, should you move house. They are supplied in kit form and delivered kerbside on a pallet. The Oracle and Regatta pools are supplied and priced as a complete kit including, A frame safety ladder, or decking ladder, powerful self priming pump, sand filter with sand filter media, hard plumb kit, skimmer/return fittings, boulder patterned or plain blue overlap liner (which can be upgraded to a beaded patterned liner) and even the glue solvent, PTFE tape is included. They have a multi coated steel wall, with steel uprights and steel top rails.

We have not priced the "Standard Resin Pools" as a complete kit, they come complete with the pool structure, patterned beaded liner, skimmer and returns, but no plumb kit, ladders or filtration pumps. They have a multi coated steel wall, with resin uprights and resin top rails. They are manufactured in Canada to the highest standards, to withstand extremes of temperature. The structure itself is stronger than most pool we have seen, with more upright supports per pool. The Canadian deluxe pool is priced as a complete kit, with a good quality sand filter/pump, ladder and hard plumb kit.

The main reason for our separate pricing, is that many dealers are adding the cheapest possible equipment to go with the Standard Resin in order to make a low priced package, we at Pools Direct believe that the top of the range resin pool deserves more than entry level pumps etc. And some customers may already have these items, perhaps from a smaller pool upgrade. We will be happy to recommend and quote you for the complete kit on a case by case bases. This equipment can be found on other pages of this site.

The Oracle has 8” bullnose curved top coping rails and 7” uprights.

For all family pool kits the only extras you will need are the building supplies such as sand, patio slabs, cement etc. We can advise you about how much of this you will require..

The family pool is a very popular way of obtaining a pool that looks in-ground by half or completely sinking them. (local conditions may limit how far they can be sunk) A decking surround completes the look. Click on the above pictures to see examples of finished projects.

The new regatta II is based on the tried and proven design with new features which include a wall depth of 52", increase from the original 48" to maximise the swimming freedom. The colour co-ordinated wall and framework combination will lend itself to the completion of an attractive garden setting. The oval Regatta II caps have Buttress side supports, therefore please allow an additional 36" of garden space either side of the pool. Don't forget if you intend to sink the pool into the ground, the buttresses may no longer be visible The Regatta II offers 7" top rails and 6" verticals. All the framework components are galvanised, an eye catching design with a plain blue overlap plain or patterned liner, all plumbing and a Safety ladder completes the kit
